Shearling leather, also known as reversed shearling, is renowned for being the warmest material in its category, thanks to its structure that combines dual tanning: both on the outside, with the wool, and on the inside, which can be either nappa or suede. The wool treatment process is meticulous and aims to preserve the insulating properties of the fleece, which can be left long or shaved depending on preference. This ensures that shearling leather maintains a constant body temperature, offering excellent thermal comfort in harsh weather conditions. In fashion, jackets or coats made of real shearling often feature an outer side that can be nappato (smooth) or suede, depending on the desired aesthetic effect.
In Solofra, in the heart of Campania, lies one of the oldest and most prestigious tanning districts in Italy. Here, D'Arienzo exclusively selects premium leathers, relying on the expertise of tanneries that have mastered every detail for generations. In our workshops, tradition meets excellence: the secrets of the trade are passed down from family to family, ensuring garments designed to last over time.

Non isolanti né impermeabili
I guanti sono molto belli e i tessuti di qualità (la taglia è un po' stretta, quindi ne consiglio almeno una in più della solita).
Tuttavia, non sono impermeabili e sulla neve si sono bagnati, non isolando dal freddo le mie mani.
Ad ogni modo, sono molto belli esteticamente e ben rifiniti. Curato anche l'imballaggio.
