SHEARLING

Shearling leather, also known as reversed shearling, is renowned for being the warmest material in its category, thanks to its structure that combines dual tanning: both on the outside, with the wool, and on the inside, which can be either nappa or suede. The wool treatment process is meticulous and aims to preserve the insulating properties of the fleece, which can be left long or shaved depending on preference. This ensures that shearling leather maintains a constant body temperature, offering excellent thermal comfort in harsh weather conditions. In fashion, jackets or coats made of real shearling often feature an outer side that can be nappato (smooth) or suede, depending on the desired aesthetic effect.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT

The more leather ages, the more beautiful it becomes. You just need to take care of it: Clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt

  1. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and store the garment in a cool, dry place when not in use;
  2. We recommend treating the leather with a specific leather care product at least once a year to keep it soft and protected from wear;

Montone Shearling testa di moro bomber

Questo bomber è un’affermazione di stile senza tempo. Il pelo "Testa di Moro" – con la sua caratteristica punta nera su base marrone chiaro/beige – è incredibilmente elegante e ricercato. Ogni pelle è unica, con variazioni naturali di colore che rendono il giubbotto un pezzo unico. Il collo camicia aggiunge una nota sofisticata e versatile, distanziandosi dallo stile più classico da aviatore con colletto a scialle. Lo rende più facile da abbinare, adatto anche a essere portato semi-aperto su un maglione o una felpa. La linea è quella classica del bomber, pulita e maschile, ma la ricchezza del materiale lo eleva immediatamente.
La sensazione è di lusso tangibile. Il montone shearling è spesso, morbido e incredibilmente caldo. La lavorazione è di alto livello: le cuciture sono robuste e precise, le cerniere (spesso in ottone o metallo pesante) scorrono fluidamente, l’interno in pelle conciata è liscio e confortevole. Il "Testa di Moro" è una delle qualità più pregiate, e si percepisce. Un investimento durevole, che con le giuste cure durerà per decenni, sviluppando una patina ancora più bella.
Il comfort termico è eccezionale. È un giubbotto per i giorni più freddi, che isola in modo naturale senza essere eccessivamente pesante. La pelle è inizialmente rigida (come tutti i shearling di qualità) ma si ammorbidisce e si adatta al corpo con l’uso. Il colletto camicia è comodo e non ingombra come uno scialle rialzato. L’unico punto di "attenzione" è la vestibilità: essendo un capo strutturato, deve essere della taglia giusta. Non deve essere larghissimo, ma nemmeno stretto, per permettere un leggero layering sotto.
A chi lo consiglio: All'appassionato di moda che cerca un investimento, a chi ama i materiali naturali e il made in Italy di alta gamma, a chi desidera un'alternativa sofisticata al classico bomber aviatore.
