SHEARLING

Shearling leather, also known as reversed shearling, is renowned for being the warmest material in its category, thanks to its structure that combines dual tanning: both on the outside, with the wool, and on the inside, which can be either nappa or suede. The wool treatment process is meticulous and aims to preserve the insulating properties of the fleece, which can be left long or shaved depending on preference. This ensures that shearling leather maintains a constant body temperature, offering excellent thermal comfort in harsh weather conditions. In fashion, jackets or coats made of real shearling often feature an outer side that can be nappato (smooth) or suede, depending on the desired aesthetic effect.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT

The more leather ages, the more beautiful it becomes. You just need to take care of it: Clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt

  1. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and store the garment in a cool, dry place when not in use;
  2. We recommend treating the leather with a specific leather care product at least once a year to keep it soft and protected from wear;

Avevo iniziato una ricerca per un montone. Tra i vari brand ho voluto subito concentrarmi su un prodotto artigianale italiano. Dopo aver scoperto la provincia di Avellino come capitale della pelletteria, ho conosciuto quest’azienda. Ho individuato tra i loro capi il modello che più mi piaceva. Non compro un cappotto se non lo vedo prima, e, chicca importantissima, loro hanno un negozio che tracima di montoni in zona Duomo a Milano. La titolare è una donna di una bellezza e un carisma straordinario, in sintonia con i loro capi. Disponibilissime le commesse del negozio e altrettanto gentili le operatrici via mail/whats app. Ho provato il capo ma non c’era il colore. Cercavo qualcosa da mettere quando fa freddo che mi calzasse a pennello, che mi tenesse al caldo senza essere ingombrante e voluminoso perchè di qualche misura più grande affinchè potessi metterci strati di magliette.
Questo è perfetto, la consistenza della pelle è bellissima, anche l'odore, è morbida all'interno e conserva e ritrasmette il calore in modo fantastico
